Hridaya Sivalingam

Hridaya Sivalingam is a core faculty member in the Counseling Department at Saybrook University, specializing in clinical supervision and instruction. She coordinates the MA program's clinical experience and teaches courses such as Basic Counseling Skills, Group Counseling, Ethics in Counseling, and Counseling Supervision. Her work integrates humanistic psychology with mind-body connections, spirituality, and social justice.

Research & Practice: Hridaya focuses on anxiety/depression, LGBTQIA concerns, identity exploration, and integrative therapies. She holds certifications in breath therapy and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (NH) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Her teaching emphasizes mindfulness, ethical practice, and the impact of personal growth on counseling professionals.
