Benedetta Ettorre

Benedetta Ettorre is an architect and PhD student in Environment, Design, and Innovation at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, affiliated with the National Research Council (CNR) - Institute for Research on Innovation and Services for Development (IRISS) since 2023. Her work focuses on collaborative processes for port-city regeneration and sustainable development.

• Education: Graduated with honors in Architecture from the University of Naples Federico II; Master's in Sustainable Planning and Design of Port Areas from the University of Naples Federico II.
• Current Roles: Collaborates on the 'Maritime Commons' project at CNR-IRISS; tutor at the University of Naples Federico II; participant in SRM's 'Meets4Future' project for under-30 researchers.

Her research interests center on spatial decision support systems for conflict management in port mobility and logistics, assessing impacts on coastal ecosystems, and integrating green transition strategies into urban planning. She contributes to the RETE association, which fosters collaboration between ports and cities, and serves on organizing committees for national and international conferences.

She actively engages in professional activities, including speaking at seminars and workshops globally, and is involved in multidisciplinary projects addressing sustainable urban development and maritime governance.
