Ben Ohavi is a Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School (spring term) and a Research Fellow at Yale's Center for Jewish and Israeli Law, as well as an Affiliated Fellow at the Center for Private Law during the 2024–2025 academic year. He holds an LL.B. in Law and Philosophy from Hebrew University (2017) and an LL.M. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law (2019). His research focuses on private ownership in Talmudic law, blending historical and contemporary property law theories, and intersects with political philosophy and legal metaphysics.
