Ben Lohmeyer is a Full Member in the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work at Flinders University, affiliated with the Institute for Mental Health and Wellbeing. His research focuses on youth and social harm, including violence, bullying, and loneliness, employing a sociological lens to critique systemic societal structures. He holds a PhD in Sociology from Flinders University, a Master of Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Sydney, and a BA in Youth Work from Tabor.
