Kate Seymour is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at Flinders University and a founding member of the Social Work Innovation Research Living Space (SWIRLS) under Professor Sarah Wendt. She also contributes to the Centre for Research on Men and Masculinities (CROMM) at the University of Wollongong, NSW. Her work bridges social work and criminology, focusing on gender, masculinities, and violence.
- Research Interests: Gendered violence, critical social work, domestic violence, social policy, and youth mentoring.
- Key Projects: Led the 2024 Independent Review of Paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave under the Fair Work Act 2009.
