Professor Natalier’s work intersects with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly addressing poverty reduction and gender equality. Her recent studies highlight practitioner insights into domestic violence survivor housing, young women’s experiences of violence-linked homelessness, and systemic racism in aged care sectors. Collaborations span institutions like the University of Melbourne and ANU.
Her academic contributions include over 70 publications spanning sociology, policy analysis, and qualitative research. She has advised on youth justice practices and contributed to reforms in child support systems. Current research themes emphasize policy interventions for vulnerable populations and the socio-emotional dimensions of post-separation family dynamics.
