Ben Krone

Ben Krone is a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design and founder of Gradient, a design studio exploring procedural approaches to architectural surfaces and hybrid artifacts.

Krone's work bridges architecture, product design, and graphic art through computational methods. His research focuses on surface manipulation algorithms and fabrication technologies for commercial and residential applications.

He has practiced professionally at SHoP Architects and executed installations for Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, with projects featured in Architectural Record and Surface magazine.
