Adam Dayem is an Assistant Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's School of Architecture, serving as Second-year Design Studio Coordinator and Director of Publications. He holds a BA in Architecture from UC Berkeley and M.Arch from Columbia University, where he received the McKim Prize. As principal of Actual Office Architecture, he has won awards for projects like the Sleeve House and Yohji Yamamoto's NYC flagship store.
His research explores representation in architecture, experimental drawings, and architectural interventions in landscapes. He has taught at Pratt Institute, University of Pennsylvania, The New School, and Columbia University.
