B. (Ben) Gützkow, PhD is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Groningen’s Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences. He coordinates the Academic Skills program (since 2018) and teaches small-group courses including thesis supervision. His research focuses on cognitive style, motivation, and motivated reasoning, with emphasis on pandemic-related societal challenges and cross-cultural analyses.
