Dr. Ben Duncan is a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Worcester, where he has been affiliated since December 2016. He holds a PhD from the University of Brighton (2017) and a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science (2010) from the same institution. His research focuses on environmental physiology, particularly the metabolic effects of hypoxia, and its applications in preventing/treating metabolic disorders like obesity. He also investigates endurance performance and the impact of environmental stressors (e.g., heat and altitude) on athletic performance.
