Becky McCerery

Dr. Becky McCerery is a Research Fellow at Northumbria University in the Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences. Her work focuses on glacial dynamics, subglacial environments, and environmental contamination.

McCerery employs interdisciplinary methods combining interface physics, geochemistry, and microbiology to study ice flow instability and subglacial sediment-water interactions. Her work includes field and remote geomorphological mapping of glaciers in Svalbard, biogeochemical analysis protocols, and contamination studies of Alberta Oil Sands.
