Becca Cragin serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Popular Culture within Bowling Green State University's School of Cultural and Critical Studies. Her academic work bridges critical theory and media analysis through feminist frameworks, with teaching and research centered on television culture and identity politics.

Research Focus: Dr. Cragin specializes in gender and sexuality representations within crime and comedy television genres. Her current project examines queer narratives in sitcom reboots and revivals, analyzing how contemporary media reinterprets LGBTQ+ themes through revival formats. This work extends her longstanding investigation of feminist pedagogy in popular culture education.
