Beatriz Correia Lima serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and Art at the School of Education of Viseu (Polytechnic Institute of Viseu), Portugal since September 2024. Concurrently, she works as Creative Director for K2 Marketing NL (Netherlands) and maintains freelance motion design projects with international clients including Google, Amazon, Disney, Netflix, and HBO.
Education:
- Bachelor of Fine Art in Motion Design (2016-2020) from Ringling College of Art and Design, United States. Thesis: "Ungrateful Love - Music Video".
Her research and creative practice centers on Animation and Motion Design, exploring diverse techniques including Kinetic Typography, 3D Animation, VFX, Digital Compositing, Stop Motion, and Cell Animation. She integrates music and visual storytelling across commercial and artistic projects, with notable work on Earthrise Studio's documentary series "Power- How Fossil Fuels changed our World".

She co-advises undergraduate capstone projects in Fine Arts and Multimedia at ESEV, including animated shorts, performance installations, and branding initiatives. Fluent in Portuguese (native) and English (C2), she leverages Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator) across her multidisciplinary practice that bridges commercial design, education, and Portuguese musical traditions.
