Beatrice van der Heijden

Beatrice van der Heijden is a Full Professor of Strategic HRM at Radboud University, Nijmegen, Netherlands, and Head of the Department of Strategic HRM. She holds adjunct/visiting professorships at institutions including Hubei University (China), Kingston University (UK), and Ghent University (Belgium). Her research focuses on aging at work, employability, and sustainable career development, emphasizing the interplay of individual, organizational, and societal factors.

Education: MA in Work and Organizational Psychology (Radboud University) and PhD in Management Science (University of Twente). She has coordinated European cross-cultural projects on career success and premature retirement, and her work bridges academic and professional fields through evidence-based recommendations.
