Beatrice van der Heijden

Beatrice van der Heijden is a Professor of Strategic HRM at Radboud University's Institute for Management Research and Head of the Department Strategic HRM. She concurrently holds the Chair of Strategic HRM at the Open University of the Netherlands, Ghent University, Hubei University, and Kingston University. She serves on the International Academic Advisory Panel of Wittenborg University.

Her research focuses on sustainable careers, employability, aging at work, and age-related stereotyping. She is an Associate Editor for the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology and Co-Editor of the German Journal of Human Resource Management.

Her work has been published in top journals including the Journal of Vocational Behavior, HRM, and Academy of Management Annals. She co-edited the Handbook of Research on Sustainable Careers.

Her expertise spans industries such as ICT, healthcare, public administration, and both profit and non-profit sectors.
