Beata Batorowicz

Associate Professor Beata Batorowicz is based at the University of Southern Queensland within the School of Creative Arts. She holds the role of Associate Head (Research and Research Training) and serves as an Executive Team Leader for the Centre for Heritage and Culture.

• Fields: Contemporary Art, Art Theory, Visual Arts, Cultural and Feminist Theory, WWII History
• Awards: Two UniSQ Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning (2016, 2018)
• Publications: Recent works include journals in Arts and Humanities in Higher Education and Futures, focusing on narrative frameworks in art education and trauma representation.
• Leadership: Appointed to the Australia Council for Deans and Directors of Creative Art Executive Board (2022) and Editorial Member of the American Journal of Art and Design (2023).
