Kate Cantrell

Kate Cantrell is a Senior Lecturer in Writing, Editing, and Publishing at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Creative Arts. She holds affiliations with the Centre for Health Research, Centre for Heritage and Culture, and Institute for Resilient Regions. With extensive international experience, she has held academic positions at the University of Oxford, City University of London, and Queensland University of Technology.

Her research spans trauma studies, narrative health, and arts advocacy, with a focus on childhood trauma, cancer survivorship, and trauma-informed care.
