Beata Batorowicz is an Associate Professor and Associate Head (Research and Research Training) in the School of Creative Arts at the University of Southern Queensland. She specializes in Sculpture (Visual Arts) and holds a Doctor of Visual Arts from Griffith University. Her research focuses on contemporary art narratives, trauma representation, WWII art histories, and the intersection of mythological storytelling with cultural identity. She leads the Centre for Heritage and Culture and serves on the Executive Board of the Australia Council for Deans and Directors of Creative Arts.
