Bastian Molitor

Bastian Molitor is a Professor at the Department of Geosciences within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Tübingen. His research focuses on anaerobic microbes that utilize hydrogen and carbon dioxide, particularly acetogenic bacteria and methanogenic archaea, with applications in biotechnology and circular economy.

• Investigates microbial interactions in natural/man-made environments and human gut microbiomes, including virus-host dynamics.
