Professor Basia Diug is a leading academic at Monash University's School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, holding roles as Head of Undergraduate Courses, Head (Quality and Innovation) of the Medical Education Research and Quality (MERQ) unit, and Director of the Bachelor of Health Sciences program. She co-chairs MD Theme II: Society, Population, Health and Illness across all five years of the MD program. Since joining the SPHPM in 2006, she has developed expertise in medical education and medication safety research.
Her PhD (2013) focused on NHMRC-funded warfarin therapy studies, examining bleeding risk factors in community patients.
