Bartosz Wołodkiewicz

Bartosz Wołodkiewicz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Procedure at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw. He holds a Lindemann Foundation scholarship and has conducted research at the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law. His research focuses on the applicability of foreign procedural law and the legitimacy, scope, and effects of the lex fori principle in European civil procedure. He emphasizes the Institute's resources and community as vital to his work on private international law. His current habilitation thesis explores shifting paradigms in procedural law governance within EU frameworks.
