Barbara Rita Alevriadou

Barbara Rita Alevriadou is a SUNY Empire Innovation Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University at Buffalo – The State University of New York, with an adjunct appointment in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. Her research bridges cardiovascular physiology, molecular signaling, and mitochondrial function to understand vascular dysfunction in diseases like atherosclerosis and diabetes.
