Her research spans sixteenth-century reformations, biblical interpretation, and women in religion. Current projects examine Sebastian Franck’s mystical theology and its paradoxical relationship to scriptural exegesis.
Recent publications analyze Calvin’s historical thinking, Reformation politics, and the evolution of religious doubt in early Lutheran texts. She situates Franck’s radical mysticism within broader transformations of European religious landscapes.
Scientific contributions include editorial roles at the Sixteenth Century Journal and leadership in the Calvin Studies Society. She is unavailable for advising until September 2025 due to research leave.
