Bahil Darson Ghanim

Bahil Darson Ghanim is a Senior Physician and Clinical Associate Professor at the Clinical Department of General and Thoracic Surgery, University Hospital Krems, affiliated with Karl Landsteiner Private University of Health Sciences. He holds a PhD and is actively engaged in both clinical and translational research in thoracic oncology, with a focus on predictive biomarkers, liquid biopsy, and rare pleural tumors such as solitary fibrous tumor and malignant mesothelioma.

His research interests include:

• Predictive and prognostic biomarkers in lung cancer and pleural malignancies
• Role of systemic inflammation (CRP, NLR, PLR) in oncology
