Babak Afrassiabi is a Visiting Professor at the Paris Clergy National Graduate School of Art and a core tutor for Studio Practice at the MA Artistic Research program at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK). His work focuses on interdisciplinary research, blending art, politics, and history through media and archival practices.
Since 2004, he has collaborated with Nasrin Tabatabai on Pages, a bilingual magazine expanded into exhibitions and projects exploring the archive's role in defining art's historical context. Notable exhibitions include the Lahore Biennial, Guangzhou Triennial, and Venice Architecture Biennial.
