Aziz Amirali Hasham Merchant serves as Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore since 2014 and Executive Director of Keppel Marine & Deepwater Technology Pte Ltd, bringing over 25 years of global expertise in offshore oil & gas development, floating infrastructure, marine vessels, and renewable energy systems.

Prof. Merchant leads cutting-edge development through the Keppel-NUS Corporate Laboratory and Keppel-TCOMS joint Research Laboratory (NUS/A*STAR), where his team has engineered transformative solutions including the Low Motion Semi-Submersible platform and Extended Semi-Submersible Vessel (ESEMI), advancing offshore operational capabilities globally.
