Awam Amkpa

Awam Amkpa is a Professor at the College of Arts & Science of New York University. His research focuses on African diasporic drama, film, transnationalism, and postcolonial theory. He holds a Ph.D. in Drama from the University of Bristol (England), an M.A. in Drama from Ahmadu Bello University (Nigeria), and a B.A. in Dramatic Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University (Nigeria). Notable work includes Theatre and Postcolonial Desires (Routledge, 2003).
