Ifeoluwa Aboluwade

Dr. Ifeoluwa Aboluwade is a Researcher in English Literary Studies at the University of Bayreuth, Germany, affiliated with the Cluster of Excellence “Africa Multiple” and the research project “Travelling Knowledge and Trans*textuality. African Sources in Shakespearean Drama”. Her work explores transcultural connections between Shakespearean drama and West African oral/visual narratives, focusing on warrior and trickster motifs. She holds a PhD (summa cum laude) from the University of Bayreuth (2014–2019), an MPhil in German Studies from Obafemi Awolowo University (2007–2010), and a BA in German Studies from the same institution (1999–2004). She has also held roles as a Lecturer at Covenant University (2007–2012) and a Teaching Assistant at New York University (2008–2009).
