Austin Brown is a Lecturer at Johns Hopkins University and the Executive Director of the Policy Institute for Energy, Environment, and the Economy at the University of California, Davis. At JHU, he teaches courses on transportation and climate policy, while his executive role at UC Davis focuses on bridging research, policy, and business communities to advance clean energy and sustainable transportation initiatives. He previously spent nine years in Washington, D.C., working with the Department of Energy, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy during the Obama Administration.
