Audrey Bartholomew

Audrey Bartholomew, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of Special Education Programs at the University of New England. She specializes in teaching special education courses such as Autism, special education methods, and supporting challenging behavior. Her research focuses on inclusive educational practices and positive behavior supports for students with disabilities.

Dr. Bartholomew holds a 286 endorsement in Maine (teacher of students with severe disabilities, PreK-12) and is eligible for a 282 endorsement (teacher of students with disabilities, K-8 and 7-12). She has extensive experience in K-12 special education teaching and has provided training across Maine and other states on secondary transition planning.
