Audra Barber serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Professional Effectiveness Division of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. She is passionate about helping students discover their authentic voice and present themselves with confidence in professional settings.

Professor Barber specializes in professional communication development, focusing on public speaking, business communication, and career readiness. Her expertise helps students navigate communication challenges in professional environments, overcome speaking anxiety, and develop effective presentation skills. She emphasizes authentic self-expression while building professional confidence through practical communication strategies.

Professor Barber teaches Communication Strategy at Leeds and has previously taught Public Speaking and Professional & Business Communication courses in the CU Boulder Communication Department. She has served as a Speech Coach for the Josephine Jones Speaking Lab and regularly conducts workshops for students and faculty on topics ranging from conference presentations to career readiness development. As a proud CU Boulder alumna, she remains committed to mentoring and supporting current students through various outreach initiatives.
