Aubrey Hawkinson serves as Lecturer in Opera and Voice at Millikin University's School of Music, bringing extensive professional performance experience to her teaching. A mezzo-soprano praised for her polished stage presence and lush vocal quality, she maintains an active performance career while educating the next generation of musicians.
Her educational foundation includes a Bachelor’s Degree in vocal performance from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Music in voice performance and pedagogy from Westminster Choir College.
Ms. Hawkinson specializes in diverse operatic repertoire spanning Baroque to contemporary works, with particular expertise in mezzo-soprano roles. Her performance history demonstrates exceptional versatility across leading, supporting, and chorus roles in major productions.
