Dr. Atasha Jordan, MD, MBA, is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) and an attending psychiatrist at Cooper University Health Care. She holds a medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School. Dr. Jordan’s roles include clinical practice, medical student teaching, and community-based research focused on faith and mental health. She is a Core Faculty member at the Edward D. Viner Center for Humanism Education and Training.

Research Interests: Dr. Jordan investigates the intersection of faith and mental health, including Mental Health First Aid programs for faith communities and spirituality-based psychotherapies in inpatient psychiatry. Her work emphasizes culturally responsive mental health interventions and integrates spiritual practices into clinical care.
