Aske Kammer is an Associate Professor at the Department of Communication and Arts, Roskilde University. His research focuses on innovation in the news industry, particularly how news organizations adapt to new technologies and utilize user data for decision-making. He also investigates digital business models for news media and has contributed to the Journal of Media Management.
His recent publications include studies on datafication in news work, podcasting institutional development, and subsidized news-media innovation. Kammer leads and participates in several research projects such as Transnational Media Management and The Datafied News Industry.
