Asha Scielzo

Asha Scielzo is a Lecturer in Law at American University Washington College of Law, where she serves as Director of the nationally ranked Health Law and Policy Program. She also teaches Health Care Compliance, Ethics & Governance at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. She is an active leader in health law education and policy, with dual academic affiliations and national professional influence.

Her research and teaching interests focus on health law, compliance, digital health, healthcare transactions, fraud and abuse, governance, and ethics. She integrates over 20 years of industry and legal practice experience into her experiential courses, emphasizing real-world application in regulatory and transactional health law.
