Asaf Orr is a Lecturer and legal professional specializing in civil rights advocacy for transgender and gender-expansive youth. He served over a decade as Senior Staff Attorney and Director of the Transgender Youth Project at the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR), handling litigation, policy, and advocacy in school discrimination, custody disputes, and healthcare access cases. In February 2023, he transitioned to the California Civil Rights Department to advance protections against discrimination and hate violence.
