Dr. Arwel Davies is an Associate Professor of Law at Swansea University's Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law, within the Department of Law. He joined the institution in 2001 after starting his career at the University of Southampton and completed his PhD on international public procurement regulation at the University of Nottingham. His research focuses on international economic law, particularly the intersection of trade and investment law regimes, and how these frameworks balance liberalization with state regulatory autonomy for public interest purposes.
Dr. Davies teaches World Trade Law, Commercial Law, and provides Welsh-language seminars in Contract Law.
