Dr Simon Crabtree is a full-time Tutor in Law at Swansea University's Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law, joining in 2019 after completing his PhD and graduating first-class in 2015. He previously worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and as a Case Handler in contract litigation at Lyons Davidson. His research focuses on implied duties of good faith in contract performance, with international publications and presentations. He teaches Contract Law (since 2016) and Land Law (since 2019), covering foundational topics in obligations, tort, and commercial law.

Research Interests: Simon's work examines the intersection of contractual obligations and ethical performance, particularly how good faith principles shape legal remedies. His expertise bridges theoretical contract law with practical litigation scenarios in commercial and consumer contexts.
Teaching: Leads modules LANM07 (Law of Obligations) and LAQ227 (Contract Law), emphasizing civil law frameworks, negligence torts, product liability, and statutory regulation of contractual terms. His teaching integrates case law analysis with real-world litigation examples.
