Arundhati Sanyal, Ph.D., is a Senior Lecturer and Director of the Writing Center in the Department of English at Seton Hall University. She specializes in 19th-century British literature, post-colonial literature, and composition studies with a focus on Writing Center pedagogy. Her academic leadership includes managing the Writing Center, mentoring peer tutors, and contributing to the University Core curriculum.
Research interests include George Eliot’s novels (recognized by the Adrienne Auslander Munich Prize), gender discourse in post-colonial contexts, and rhetoric/composition theory. Recent work includes an analysis of Tagore and Yeats’ literary exchanges. She actively teaches courses such as British Literature II, Core English, and Writing Center Theory-Practice.
