Megan Kane is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Seton Hall University. Her work focuses on computational methods applied to writing pedagogy and program assessment. She holds a PhD from Temple University (2024), an MA (2021), and a BA from Elizabethtown College (2019).
Research Interests:
- Computational text analysis applied to student writing
- Development of writing program assessment frameworks
- Rhetorical analysis of citation practices in academic writing
- Integration of digital tools into composition education
Teaching: She instructs first-year writing courses (ENG 1201/1202) and serves as a Writing Center tutor. Her pedagogical approach emphasizes data-driven improvements in writing instruction.
