Dr. Arturia Melson-Silimon is an incoming Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech, directing the Advancing Identity Management (AIM) Lab. Her research focuses on marginalized employees' experiences with stigma, identity management, and workplace discrimination. She holds a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Georgia (2024), supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship (2020–2024).
