Dr. Arnela Ceric is a Senior Lecturer in Management at Charles Sturt University's School of Business with over a decade of academic experience since joining in 2012. She teaches core business subjects including Organisational Behaviour (MGT210), Human Resource Management, Business Strategy (MGT330), and Operations Management across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Her academic affiliations include the Health Services Research Group, Business Workforce Wellness Research Unit, and Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour Research Group.
Dr. Ceric earned her PhD in IT Management: IT Business Value from Charles Sturt University in 2010, followed by a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. Her educational background forms the foundation for her expertise in technology management and organizational behavior.
Her research focuses on the intersection of technology and human resource management, particularly examining how digital tools impact workplace dynamics, employee well-being, and organizational effectiveness. Key research areas include e-HRM implementation challenges, ethical implications of cybervetting in recruitment, and Indigenous employee training programs in rural health services. She employs diverse methodological approaches including Cross-Impact Analysis and Resource-Based View frameworks to investigate complex organizational phenomena, with particular attention to how organizations can harness ICT for business value creation while addressing human factors.
Dr. Ceric's scholarly output demonstrates consistent contributions to understanding workplace challenges in the digital economy, with publications spanning from AI's impact on jobs to mental health programs in organizational settings.
