Arnaud Gilles is a Professor of Organizational Psychology/Behavior at ESCP Business School's Paris campus. He specializes in applying psychoanalytic theory, particularly Lacanian frameworks, to organizational studies, work psychology, and business management. His research also focuses on qualitative and clinical research methods, as well as critical management studies.
He holds a Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, a PhD in Management Science (specializing in organizational psychodynamics), and French accreditation to supervise doctoral research. Gilles serves on the editorial boards of several journals, including Organization Studies, Management Decision, and Leadership & Organization Development Journal, among others. He co-edits the Nouvelle Revue de Psychosociologie and the Clinical Research & Social Change Series.
Gilles is affiliated with the Laboratoire de Changement Social et Politique (University of Paris Diderot), the HASTEC laboratory of excellence, and the Psychoanalysis, Organizations, Work, and Society AIMS research group. He previously served on the boards of ISPSO and CIRFIP.
