Fabrice Flipo is a Professor in Political and Social Philosophy at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (IMT-BS), specializing in sustainability studies and ecological philosophy. He is affiliated with the Laboratoire de Changement Social at Université de Paris Cité.

Recent works analyze authoritarian ecological policies, the ontology of sustainability, and the ideological dimensions of climate politics. Publications from 2025 address progressive vs. conservative environmentalism and the political implications of digital sobriety.
Flipo contributes to public debates and scientific dissemination through the journal Natures Sciences and collaborations with Mauss and Ecologie & Politique. He supervises or has supervised approximately fifteen theses and leads the RUN team (11 EC members, including 5 PRs) at IMT-BS. His pedagogy includes modules on ecological leadership, digital sobriety, and sustainable development.
