Prof. dr. Arjan Stegeman is a Professor at Utrecht University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, leading the Farm Animal Health division. His research integrates epidemiology, infectious disease dynamics, and antimicrobial resistance in livestock, with active roles at the science-policy interface including chairing the Netherlands' Expert Group on Animal Diseases and membership in EFSA’s Animal Health Panel.
