Arig Al Shaibah serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at McMaster University's Faculty of Social Sciences.
Her academic focus centers on:
- Human Rights frameworks and applications
- Contemporary Diversity Studies
- Social Justice theory and practice
- Sociological approaches to human rights
She has been instructing the upper-level course "Diversity and Human Rights Inquiry - ARTSSCI 4CI3" since at least 2020, continuing through 2021 as part of McMaster's interdisciplinary Arts & Science Program.
As an Adjunct faculty member, Dr. Al Shaibah maintains a part-time academic position that allows for specialized contribution to the university while potentially balancing other professional commitments.
