PD Dr. Anya Heise-von der Lippe is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Tübingen's Englisches Seminar, within the Faculty of Humanities. She holds a Habilitation in English Literary and Cultural Studies from the University of Potsdam, a PhD in English Literature from the University of Tübingen, and an M.A. in English, Spanish Literature, and Philosophy from TU Berlin. Her research focuses on Climate Change, Gothic Literature, Posthumanism, and Disability Studies, with interdisciplinary engagement in Romanticism, Cyberculture, and Dystopian narratives.
Teaching roles include interim professorships at TU Dortmund and external lecturer positions at TU Berlin and FU Berlin. She actively contributes to academic networks such as the Society for Disability Studies (SDS) and the Association for the Study of Literature and Environment (ASLE). She co-organizes the Narr CHALLENGES series and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Global South Studies (ICGSS). Office hours are held weekly, with online appointments available upon request.
