Cordula Lemke

Cordula Lemke is a Lecturer at the Institute of English Philology within the Department of Philosophy and Humanities at Freie Universität Berlin. Her research focuses on postcolonial and gender studies, literary theory, and 19th–21st century English literature and culture. She is affiliated with the Friedrich Schlegel Graduate School for Literary Studies.

Research Interests: Cordula Lemke specializes in postcolonial literature, gender studies, and ecocriticism, with a particular emphasis on Scottish literature, historical novels, and the adaptation of medieval themes in modern works. Her editorial contributions include co-editing volumes on ecopolitics and Joseph Conrad studies.

Publications: Her recent works explore transnational narratives, Scottish nationalism, vampire literature, and ethics in modernist texts. Themes span postcolonial theory, romanticism, and interdisciplinary approaches to cultural and environmental discourses.
