Antra Ragauska is an Associate Professor in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). She has been actively involved in academic and clinical work since 1999, contributing to dental education and research in prosthetic dentistry. Her professional roles include teaching, research supervision, and clinical practice at private clinics such as SIA Adenta and SIA ARK. She also served as a researcher at Riga Technical University from 2010 to 2011.
Her educational background includes a Dr. med. degree from Rīga Stradiņš University (2004–2009), a specialty in Prosthodontics (1996–1999), and a Dentist’s Diploma from the Latvian Academy of Medicine (1991–1996).
Antra Ragauska’s research focuses on ceramic materials in dentistry, particularly ceramic inlays/onlays and composite fillings, with emphasis on aesthetic restorations, bonding interfaces, and the application of CAD/CAM technologies. Her work bridges clinical dentistry with material science, aiming to improve the longevity and aesthetics of dental prostheses.
