Sanita Grīnberga is a PhD candidate and Acting Researcher in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at Riga Stradiņš University. Her research focuses on adhesive cementation techniques, dental materials, and bond strength analysis in ceramic overlays. She has conducted in vitro studies evaluating temporary cements, surface pretreatments, and their impact on dental restorations.
Education: Pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Prosthetic Dentistry.
Research Interests: Specializes in biomaterial interactions, adhesive systems, and clinical applications in aesthetic dentistry. Her work combines experimental methods like scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive spectroscopy to analyze dentin adhesion and material compatibility.
Projects: Leading a 4-year project (Predictable method for restoring endodontically treated teeth) comparing indirect and direct materials in aesthetic dentistry, supervised by Dr. Uldīne Soboļeva and Prof. Cecilia B. Larsson.
Activities: Presented findings at conferences, including an oral presentation on temporary cement effects in 2021.
